Natural hair

Hey ladies who have Natural hair Especially with thick curly hair what are some of the best hair products that you have found. things that you can't do w/ out on a daily!

I have seen that. and was wondering if it was good or not I also called the salon and they said 300.00 for the silkner! Im seriously debating that!

u know what i didn't do it myself, but my neighbor did and her hair looked spectacular. and the Curly Pudding did wonders for her hair when she grew out the Silkener.

cuz I have really THICKE curly hair and when its dry I have a lot of shrinkage......I was wanting to put the silkner in it this summer and see how I like it!

curly pudding is great. also, make sure to get a good conditioner. i use Creme of Nature shampoo as well as the conditioner and i also use natural oils (coconut, avocado, olive, etc.) to keep my hair moisturized.

well I just called this place down in DC who do the silkners and they do it for 150 vs.300 thats good but Im still a lil weary!

yea I have been looking for some good natural oils but havent found any in the hair stores. Some im gonna try so healthy stores!

definitely try the health food stores. don't let them have you spending ridiculous amounts of money for the oils either. you can get regular coconut oil in a big bottle for about $3.99 & the olive oil & avocado oil should cost you no more than $2.99 each. you don't need an expensive brand name olive oil because you're not cooking with it, it should be a little less refined than the extra-virgin types.

What exactly is a silkener?? I've heard of it before, but it was through a lil' eves dropper one day at the salon.
