Hair care regimen
Does any one have a hair care regimen or can suggest hair care products they recommend for damaged hair?

I recommend the Cantu Shea Butter Line - Cantu - shea butter
The best products are the Leave-In Conditioning Shea Cream and the Break Cure Strengthening Treatment. Both leave my hair soft and moisturized. It works for relaxed, natural, and transitioning, It's most important to keep hair moisturized & avoid damage. I'm transitioning to natural so this is my regimen - it's always some variation of the following. Daily Regimen 1. Moisturize morning and night. 2. Spray with Care Free Curl moisturizer in the roots and lightly on rest of hair. 3. Add in Leave-In Conditioning Shea Conditioning Shea Cream or the Break Cure to roots and rest of hair. 4. Comb through carefully. 5. Brush and braid in 1-3 braids. *little secret: some of the moisturizers that people with jerri curls use are actually very good* Wash 1. Wash 3-4 times a week. 2. Use a cheap shampoo, and shampoo no more than once. 3. Condition with Biotera Moisturizing Conditioner and deep condition with Organic Root Stimulator Aloe Deep Conditioner. I deep condition anywhere from 1 hr to all night. Wear a cap over my hair. 4. Comb through/detangle and wash out. 5. After washing, do the daily regimen. Tips 1. NO HEAT. I can count the number of times a year on my fingers that I use heat, including salon visits. 2. Don't overdo combing and brushing. 3. Best to have a satin pillowcase to prevent breakage. 4. Wrap or braid hair at night, and cover with silk scarf (especially if you don't have a satin pillowcase). 5. Wear protective hairstyles - braid, bun, clip up etc. 6. JOIN LongHairCareForum.com . It can be very helpful as far as products and regimen. Lastly, my hair is almost down to the middle of my back and is becoming more healthy. And this doesn't take half as much time as it may seem...not at all. I get completely ready in 30-45 mins in the morning... |

Thats some good tips there......my hair is messed up man........it's natural.......but i guess its real damaged...........but then i dont never trim it so that could probably be one reason why.........for some reason the middle of my hair is really short compared to the rest on my hair.
i dont know what happened there......and i so use heat quite often...........i used to have it in plattes a lot....but dont really any more..........and it has got a lot thinner over the yrs. |

For me this works:
1. Wash and deep condition once a week 2. I pre-condition the night before I wash my hair with Ojon 3. One week I wear curly and one week I press my hair 4. Protect your hair at night with a bonnet, scarf or satin pillow case 5. Lightly grease or oil scalp twice a week |
