No, hold on the jheri curl is the worst hair invention EVER CREATED. The jheri curl caused our men to leave us...which man wants to sleep beside a woman with a plastic bag on her head...absurd!! We are suffering to this day... |

if you are using them to start them then fine, since not everyone has hair thick enough/strong enough. if you are doing it because of temporary purposes/fashion

at first i was gonna get it done . . . . . dis lady showed me how it wud be done an it "looks real" but when she told me it wud cost 600$

If you have seen them on someone and you can afford to get it done well, try it....as long as you know that they won't look identical to locs (real locs look much better), you should be fine...

okay i am not for fake locs, but werent erykah badu's locs fake? isnt that why she cut them off? But besides that, i saw this lady who had kinky twists down her back, but when i spoke with her, she said she had locs. As i examine her hair she had natural hair all the way down her back, and scary looking kinky twists at the end. Till this day i dont know what look she was trying to pull off.

To me, if you can afford to do the fake locks (cause its damn expensive), why not? |
