my hair is natural, and i did it b4. Your hair does get dry but maybe a week or so later it gains back it's natural oils and texture. Just remember condition condition condition!!!!!

I'm thinking of doing it again.

thanks for both of the positive and negative.

I have my hair in two strand twist so I'm looking to give it some hightlights so when i go get it done this weekend I wanted to have my hairdresser put like a fire engine red in my hair for a little change.

I know when I go to her with this she might knock me out!!!!

I will let u guys know on Monday.

But more advise is needed.....

That's the difference right there...Your hair has already been chemically processed which is why is was so dry when you did it. Natural hair is less weak than relaxed hair so it won't get as damaged or dry...besides it's harder to color natural hair with regular hair dye because the cuticle is still intact so you really need to bleach it to get the color you want.

I have been coloring/bleching my hair for years the biggest thing I can tell ppl is ya have to moisturize ya hair!! I keep my hair well moisturized from the scalp to the tips and I also condition it I use cream of nature conditioner for color treated hair it is very good.

agreed. IT WILL BREAK. no matter how much you condition it or moisturize.

Just get a the dark and lovley blonde color, you know thw box with the chick with the man head. Use that and then add your rinse. I find that safer than the actual bleaching products, my hair havent been breaking at all.

I have natural hair and I bleached it. I had put in some streaks. My hair did not dry out or break.
