It is a really good read for all you History majors because although it is fiction the author sets the story against the backdrop of Congo's fight for independance... Author's name is Barbara Kingslover... she did a great job with this one.

Excellent book. My only disappointment with the book was how insignificant the once powerful father became. At least he should have been given a voice after his wife left with the children. What's your opinion on this?

A gentleman I met on the train told me to checkout "The Miracle of Love" and "Journey of Awakening" by Ram Dass. If anyone read them I would like to hear your thoughts.

I like love stories also but they don't teach me anything worth while they are just good to read.

I want some knowledge without the textbook.

well read iyanla vanzant or T.D JAKES

At the moment.....nothing. These days I'm lazy. After several attempts, hopefully I can begin to read "Betrayal" by Susan Lewis.
