Anyways, just finished the Zahir by Paulo Coelho. A hard book for me to get through since there's so much to reflect on. Started Eleven Minutes by Paulo today (halfway through and Loving It!!). Also on my list: Love in the Time of Cholera - Gabriel Garcia Marquez The Time Traveller's Wife - Audrey Niffeneger(a re-read) A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini Sweetness in the Belly - Camina Gibbs |

Yes I've read both Yellow Sun and Purple Hibiscus...both EXCELLENT works Zahir for me was an experience...there were many times that I had to put it down and literally walk away because it hit a nerve...11 minutes is good too I got halfway through Splendid Suns and the 1st chapter of Love in the Time of Cholera...plan to try and finish them soon though You should take a look at Unburnable by Marie Elena-John (Antiguan) and John Crow's Devil by Marlon James (Hilarious)...he also has a new one out that I can't wait to get my hands on...The Book of Night Women...James is Jamaican |
