nope. Not so. People here tend to tip-toe around spiritual matters is all.

don't have access at work. Try checking on half.com

I try to get the ISBN numbers for the books I need from amazon and then check half.com where they tend to be cheaper than other places.

Those two books go into the history of how the beliefs were formed in Trinidad. VERY good historical reference considering everyone I speak to about it (who isn't afiliated directly with it) have such negative views about it.

It's been awhile since I read it, but It's one of the books I'm taking down with me for Carnival, as I have a lot of research to do!!
