What do you think about these?

  1. Toni Morrison: A Mercy

  2. Paul Tough: Whatever it takes

  3. Somaly Nam: The Road to Lost Innocence

  4. Moustafa Bayoumi: How Does it Feel to be a Problem?

i'm on break right now but normally read that fast depending on how good a book is...the fact that I finished it in that space of time shows that it was able to hold my interest...something that rarely happens with pop lit

I actually had to get past the whole 'kid-lit' thing to read it but i loved the movie and when I started reading them I realized that even though it's geared towards a particular age group...it goes way deeper than that

Cool yeah I learned that somethings you can't dismiss because it is geared towards someone else or an age group you never know what gems or lessons you find.

Great..At the moment I find myself really into classic books on upliftment of the human spirit.

1. 'As a man thinketh' - James Allen
2. 'The miracle of right thought' - Orison Swett Marden
3. 'Secret of the ages' - Robert Collier

Has anyone read any of these?

gosh...I got the ebooks for a coworker and now my entire office is reading them...it's like a disease!! I heard they are extremely addictive. Not really interested in the whole Twilight fad...but i've heard once you start you won't be able to stop..lol.

Ok....so work and school kicked back into gear so my reading time is really limited :-( Just bought Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Been searching for this book for ages here and finally found it. Holiday tmrw so I'm definitely gonna get in some reading time.
