Gabby: West Indian Politician (my favuorite)
Red Plastic Bag:????

but I dont know which songs cause these two men here got nuff material....they are both fantastic writers but with completely different styles.....

but a World competition would be so difficult cause they are so many styles.....and the judges would have to be unbias...so I guess we would have to use ......Marsians

Calypso King of the World competition occurred in St. thomas for years.

I don't know about the years but the Mighty Sparrow won a few Calypso King of the world competitions in St. Thomas from I believe in the 50's and 60's and maybe the 70's. Chalkdust won several also.

I know Calypso Rose won at least one of these I think she beat Sparrow that year too...I don't know if that was the year she came out with Fire, Fire or Tempo.

Lord Blakey won the first one somewhere in the 50's.

Lord Melodies may have won a few.

Also Antigua use to have a Caribbean competition.. the last one was 2 years ago which was won be Ivena of Antigua and the one prior to that was won i think by in 1978 by Swallow.

But I think competitions like these will be difficult to be fair and impartial.

So did All Rounder.
