Kevin Lyttle's 'Turn Me On' Added to MTV
MTV is feeling the heat of Kevin Lyttle's soca style single, 'Turn Me On.' If you're looking to learn more about the distinctive sounds of soca, you need to know that Kevin is among those at the forefront of this rapidly rising style of music. And 'Turn Me On' is the perfect song to play as the temps climb, putting you in a summer state of mind as the Carribean-based beats wash over you.
Watch for the new video starting at MTV next week, and watch for Kevin Lyttle's debut album to arrive July 27. SOURCE |

![]() It only took a little over a year but finally it's going to be on Now I can sit on my phone and keep nagging the hell out of TRL:p Do you know what day its going to be on the air? I would run down to MTV studios to have front row seats at TRL for this one.:p

As sick as we all are of hearing that song I wonder if Kevin is as sick (if not more) of singing it...
Anyway, if this is his road to happiness and fame, and it's want he wants, then best of luck to him. Hopefully, even if nothing else comes of this, some folks out there will soon realize that there is a difference between soca and reggae music. :p |

I have to say that I have been sick to death of 'Turn Me On' for well over a year now. The song was quite big over here in the UK and now he's about to release his album, so good luck to Kevin.
Still, am I the only one who thinks that there are lots of other soca artistes who deserves fame, maybe more than Kevin seeing as they are more talented than him:p Machel boy, step up and take back yuh crown, yuh hear! |

Two members with only their second post. Interesting.
I will leave it at that. No need to counter the obvious attempt at negativity. Just go out and vote for the video when it comes on MTV. |

Nah man doh get me wrong - I wish Kevin Lyttle and Rupee for that matter continued success in their attempt to break into the mainstream market. It eh have no place for hateration in soca. It's just my opinion that Machel and many other artistes are more talented and maybe deserve success more, but again that is my personal opinion!
But you have to admit, hearing 'Turn me on' for the 5th or 6th time in a fete is too much!:) |

I real glad for Kevin oui! The first time I hear that song was 2yrs ago, I was on a yacht cruising in the W.I and ha missed Carnival so it was so new and sweet in my ears....ah wine down the boat!
When I heard "Turn me on" in the dancehalls of Australia I felt so proud....Go Kevin Lyttle. I just hope you could reproduce such good quality and keep on bigging up the Caribbean! |
