I hope you have a walking stick, because it might be a long wait.
As Jesse Jackson said, keep hope alive.

Kevin made it because he had the vision to recognize what it takes to bring soca to the mainstream, which most soca artists will attempt, and has attempted to emulate.

Kevin Lyttle is the trendsetter in this genre of music.

When you play a Kevin “The Soul Of Soca” Lyttle song, you know right off the bat it is he. He has his own unique style.

He had the foresight/vision, with only his third professional song, to mashup the world. While the established/seasoned and so-called talented soca artists are likely bewildered that they were unable to reach the status that Mr. Lyttle has achieved with his first soca hit. That is what you call talent.

This Statement person maybe has a good voice. But a good voice is not what a star or success makes. There are millions of cases where this has proven to be the case.

As one of Kevin's songs on his soon to be released CD says "I Got It." In other words, International Superstar Kevin ‘ Mainstream Soca King’ Lyttle “got it," Statement doesn’t.
