IslandMix - Soca, Reggae, Zouk and Caribbean Entertainment

I'm reading this board for a while now... keepz me up2date...

Since I'm a reggae&dancehall selector I'd like to play some soca-selection at my parties, but I couldn't find much music on vinyl. Of course, you get everything from soulseek... For me is the problem that I won't play soca at a public party if I don't OWN the songs... (I guess this copyright-issue is more serious over here compared to your islands...). I've heard from djs playing mp3s in clubs (mostly in Germany) who got into trouble because they couldn't prove that they owned the songs... In Switzerland it's not so bad yet, it's even not clearly illegal to download (only uploading is strictly prohibited).


So now I'm looking for a way to get LEGAL copies. Does anyone know a good place to buy mp3s? Not only the BIG and popular songs...

thanx for you help & keep up your work. I can tell you this: If you could order more soca on 7" this shit would be played at any dance over here... CDs are not very welcome at a dance... vinyl rules reggae&dancehall... If you'd walk up there with a reggae-cd-case ......but I wouldn't mind doing this with soca (it just got to be played, no matter which way).
