How far would you travel to go to see your favorite SOCA/ CALYPSO artist / band/ dj perform?

It depends on how expensive the trip is and the artist. If I now the artist wil not be performin for awhile in my area and the show is nearby i'll go (provided i have sufficients funds).

So long as I can afford the plane ticket, I'll go. When I lived in DC, I'd drive the 4 hrs to see Krosfyah or Xtatik on a regular basis. I'd fly to Barbados often to see Krosfyah and Square 1 throughout the year(outside of Cropover). If I had to be in Trinidad for work, I"d fly to say St.Lucia for a show before I had to come home. My loyalty stretches far

My loyalty depends on a couple of variables. I have a lot of respect and loyalty for certain people and bands in the soca industry. I only support the people/bands that I like. Also the ones that I personally think worked really hard and have been in the soca biz for years. Then they often get and earn my support/respect. I also sometimes try to look out for some of them when I can with referrals whenever possible or if needed.

I follow my favorite bands as far as my budget can take me. Other than that I also show my loyalty by buying the original CD's....no bootleg.
