Recently, i trekked to trinijunglejuice to view and hear its soca offerings for 08i was pleasantly surprised by Lady lydz's song "can't let Go." the songstress has delivered one of the best offerings for 08. the vocals are impeccable along with the other aspects of the song's production.


i said to ask this:have small island soca producers surpassed their counterparts in bim and in trinidad in terms of creativity and imagination and consistently producing soca songs with crossover appeal?

is kurty success at the recently concluded cott awards evidence that small-island soca producers have surpassed their counterparts in bim and in tnt?

let me put it another way. vincy soca producers and lucian soca producers are bringing an imagination and creativity to the genre that i have not heard from de trinis and de bajans in awhile.
