Seen soca monarch video
from the video...it's obviously between shurwayne and bunji...seemed to me shurwayne coulda win dat...but it's only a video with their camera angles...plus i wasn't there.

I also saw the video recently it was close but Garlin spend like 20 mins. on stage and most of the time was when he tried to come out the ball and when he went to go put on his fire suit. I would've just made it a tie cause Shurwayne real mash up. But then again who de arse saw any soca artists light himself on fire. That shyt was krazy.

Again…I have no idea what fans were seeing, for the fans that where there, or the ones that saw it on the video…putting all preference aside…the competition was far from close. I would have given Soca Monarch to Iwer…The man came come blazing, the water effect was wonderful ( even thou the water mess up my disposable camera ) , the tune was what Carnival is about… the crowd was feeling him…. This was a no brainer to me. Now Shurwayne vs. Bunji… this is a total diss to Bunji, to put Bunjii one point ahead of him…Shurwayne was not even close, I would have place him 4 or 5th place. Bunji performance had everything in there showmanship, pageantry, crowd participation, nice tune… Can someone please tell me what was in Shurwayne performance …please! |
