Rupee tempts a crowd of 150 000 people in paris
The setting, Paris, France, an enormous stage draped by the beautiful backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. The show, featuring some of the biggest acts in the US, France, and, the Caribbean. 150 000 people, one of the biggest crowds, at Frances biggest annual show, for Frances (you guessed it) radio station, the biggest, NRJ.
Maroon 5 opens, the crowd is lively, happy, singing, swaying. Natalie Imbruglia shines, pleases and makes way for a number of top French acts. Then, he comes, from the little gem of an island in the Caribbean called Barbados, Atlantic records recording artist Rupee. From the first note of the track that everbody knows, they go crazy, they wave, they jump, they scream, he blows them away. "To all the ladies in the dance" Before they only knew the song, now they know his face. The "Soca" music superstar makes it official, "Tempted 2 touch" will be one of Frances biggest French summer anthems. He doesn't come a headliner, but he leaves one.
