I have this DISTINCT FEELING that these CONFUSED SOULS on IMIX think that DANCEHALL MUSIC only has to do with DEEJAYING.

Now, in VINCYLAND, we refer to DANCEHALL as DUB. DUB ENCOMPASSED what is known as DANCEHALL or just the INSTRUMENTATION of that GENRE or that of REGGAE.

Are you still CONFUSED?
VP, u talking bag ah balls, Bomani music is not dancehall, not in instrumentation or delivery so how could it be Ragga.

Bunji's delivery is Ragga, Bunji is not Groovy

Busy's delivery when he doing Soca is Ragga

Buffy's delivery and music is Ragga

some of Fay Ann's stuff is Ragaa

Orlando Octave is Ragga

Swappi is Ragga

Lil Rick is Ragga

Are we CLEAR NOW or are you guys still CONFUSED?
Both of these tracks sound like regular pace aka groovy-soca to me but maybe my ears will start hearing the hidden ragga element if I was listening to these same tunes in Vincy land, who knows?!

WHAT GRENADA CALLING RAGGA SOCA, TRINIS will agree is RAGAA

VP i understand ur little argument about the differences in the name, but there is a difference in the music.

I just realised that this chap is just as confused about the difference between one drop reggae and dancehall/ragga as he is between groovy-soca and ragga-soca.

This is a lost cause guys, just let the man believe whatever he chooses to and let’s save our time and keep our sanity intact.

Shorty - I Who Have Nothing:

And this song by Kalyan from 1977!

he acts like he knows music but he is coming up short everytime, this is so simple.. anyone who is not even a Soca fan could understand the variations.
