I paid my 10$ and watched the groovy and from where i sit eventhough machel was not my favourite performance of the night...that was a toss up between erphaan and nadia......i can't grudge his win because....

1. As i said from jump Mr. Fete is a brilliant song

2. He had good crowd participation

3. He threw everything on that stage for his presentation.

So i can't argue the win. I like Nadia and I like Erphaan (sp) because they sang. I think the emphasis for the groovy monarch should be different from Power. It shouldn't be about mashing up and shouting. All in all i got my money's worth.

I from point too and i say the hell with Iwer...the hell with Machel too. I enjoyed kerwin, i enjoyed nadia, i enjoyed erphaan (sp) and one or two others.

After seeing some of the clips I'm glad I didn't watch this year. The songs sound terrible compared to past years. To think Machel won for that.....

It served it's purpose in Antigua as comic relief just like Krokuss and that's where it should have ended. Antiguans have a way of loving stupideness according to Ras Kyode and that's what we ended up with as our Party Monarch and Road March. Then we expect to blame the whole world except ourselves when nobody else likes it but us. If Hard Knaxx and other Antiguan artistes want to make it outside of Antigua they have to do the hard work. They cannot expect to make it overnight just so because we Antiguans like it. It doesn't work so. So right now you have a bunch of people on the radio arguing over what? Why do we always want to be the victim. The only thing we're victim to is mediocrity and our arrogance.

So as I touch off the plane I hear people say Machel win both I strongly feel he win the groovy but not the tempo my reason being is he did the same thing Swappi did he barley sing a word and dem people get fool with props they see him do about 3 times already but I guess dem does fall for any thing.
