I completely agree. Mista Vybe has had a new website up for almost a month. Mista Vybe World | Powered by Real Mark Global Group

He writes blog post almost everyday. He also has a youtube channel and some reality show from when he was in germany. He is definitely doing his thing using the internet to promote himself.

It's good that Soca artists are now looking to push themselves a little more by setting up Websites, but the Website craze isn't as big as it used to be. Yes, many mainstream artists have Websites, but a lot of ppl aren't interested in going to a million different Sites anymore. Instead, ppl prefer to hit up a few blogs & follow artists via Twitter. Soca artists should look into using Twitter as a promotional tool. It doesn't mean they have to tweet about every apect of their lives, but it would be helpful to them to help push info about song/album releases, events & so on. It would even broaden their fanbase, because ppl who aren't already fans, will now see their names & learn more about them. The fans they have already, most likely know to look them up, but what about the ppl who don't know about them?!
