I been having a problem with the quality of her recordings over the past 3 years. The recorded tracks sound very mediocre yet, wen sung live they sound excellent...well so i've noticed.

The vice versa can be said for tizzy...if you didn't get what i was saying...

Anyway, wen is Jumping Away going to be released? I hope it's recorded properly...and at the right tempo!

I hope it is her road version and not for the CD it is about 5:45 minutes long, you really get lost in the song. This is the second song I have listened to out of Antigua where they are just too long and you miss everything about the song.

What's the other one you are talking about? Oh and I hope this does not even make it to the cd and is just used on C'val Monday and Tuesday to hype her troupe up.

ok..but this song...the vocals sound amazing, as usual...but its like, wheres the rest to it?...the background music...i cant hear it...the song loses alot with the instruments sounding so soft...

Carnival Day...she drop that one yet?

The song has grown on me as I've heard it quite a bit over the last week. It is still one of the weakest songs she's recorded but, vocally she sounds great...and I love the lyrics. I think CP's body of work is very very good...so I'm not sure what part of her game needs to be stepped up. There are other factors as to why she is not more recognized as she should be...but that's for another thread.

As a troupe song...i don't see how it could excite anyone..it's missing some pep. This tune needs a remix/road mix.

U aren't the only one who has noticed...I agree 100%. I find Mardi Gras has the same sound but maybe the song hasn't been mastered yet, and is still rough in quality. However, in terms of inferior recordings I've noticed some other bands in ANU who have the same problem i.e. High Intensity

Again, I agree the vocals and lyrics are good...but, the song still sounds empty in many ways. I hope this tune isn't reflective of what the album will be like but, reading thru other posts...it seems we have some hot songs soon to be released.
