People does call in the radio station and when they dj asks them for the catchphase or for their pick or whatever they are talking about,the people say,"hol on, i in ah store" or," ah goh call yuh back" or ,"whah???" as if they don't know why they called or haven't even been listening to the station?

I can forgive Trinis for the million times they big up all their friends, family and 'everybody dat knows me', and all the times they clearly don't 'turn down their radio' and I get loud static in my earphones...but I can't forgive them for telling the station to 'hol on'.??

Maybe it happens on your island radio station as well, or in the US or England or wherever, but I ain't never hear it.

boy, eh, dem people does kill me boy. each and every person that calls has their facking radio turned up and doh mind each and every time the station says "turn your radios down." i like that on 96wefm they does hang up on their asses when they have static or cyah answer the catch phrase. i never see more, when they tell the station to "hol on, eh?" i am like WTF wrong with them callers? last night i hear one caller say "doh hang up on meh, eh?" bwwaahhhhaaaaaaa.....

Well in England on the legal stations I doh think yuh could get away with that, although its not that big ah problem most of the ppl that call in have there radio turned downed already .....

but its funny when listening to 96.1 or 91.9, they tellin de callers from before the lines open turn down your radio, but yet ppl aint hearing dat at all!!!

I think its Sholin from Trini Bash, he does tell ppl if yuh aint turn down yuh radio yuh will talk to tone!!!, and also that you must listen to him on the phone and not on de "rahdeo", but yet again plenty ppl sticking!!!
