I'm inclined to say Machel, but I think both have their moments. Machel has the advantage since he usually has his band. Iwer mashes up soca monarch no matter the song. He's also not performing but a short period vs Machel's hour+ set.

machel hands down...i have seen a crowd do some chupidness all cuz machel command them to...i dont think iwer could pull that off

Machel but....
I respect Iwer more as a soca performer. Machel always using reggae, hip hop and gimmicks in his performances. Anytime I see Iwer, he comes on stage, sings all his own soca songs, one man, one mic, no gimmicks, and people go off. I gotta respect that. |

but...iwer does get credit for that....i seen him in front of a 95% reggae audience and still mash up with 100% soca...flatten the place. when machels in front of a reggae audience, he changes his whole routine and starts the show w. big phat fish to rope dem eeen. iwer just does the same things....run on stage, mash up....flag for days, hand for days, forward for days... |
