I got an e-mail from Toronto-Lime about Fire Fete (The big Xtatic fete in Toronto, for those that don't know) and as it turns out, El A Kru will be performing alongside other big trini artistes at this fete. All and all, I'm happy to see another band from Antigua make it up to Toronto besides Flames. I really hope they give a wicked performance up here.

In fact, I wasn't even planning to go to Fire Fete on account that I'm not big on many of the 2k7 songs from TnT so far. But after hearing Machel's Jumbie song AND learning that El A Kru will be there, I'm much more interested in reaching.

And I hope they demand to not be put on first, that $hit where they put all the small island bands first on stage is DAMN annoying.

I agree with you. i'm always up to hearing bands that i have never seen before so it should be interesting. i'm contemplating the same thing. since i'm planning to go to cropover this may be my only chance this year to see all those big artists.


unfortunately this is probably what they are going to do just cuz they are not as known or popular as some of the other bands appearing.

It will definitely be nice to see them perform up here. They rarely ever get to come up here or, if they do, I never hear about it.

Well if we dont support we cant blame the promoters for not giving them another chance. Promoters are about the bottom line. Its a business for them. If enough people pass through that gate that are supporting then they will put them on shows in the future providing they have hot tunes and they perform well.

So T.O. here I come. Fire Fete sell off. Bup Bup.
