Cro Cro's "Say Something" is a serious song but it might be too cutting and direct to the point for the judges, we'll have to see!!

BREAKING NEWS - O’Connor crowned Calypso Monarch Story Created: Feb 20, 2012 at 3:35 AM ECT Duane O’Connor is the 2012 Calypso Monarch. O’Connor was crowned at the end of the Dimanche Gras show, this morning, beating 11 other calypsonians at the Queen’s Park Savannah, in Port of Spain. O’Connor’s two songs – “The Hunt is On” and “Long Live Calypso” – earned him the $1 million first prize. Kurt Allen and 2011 Calypso Monarch Karene Asche finished second and third, respectively. Earlier in the season, O’Connor won the Young Kings competition. Roland St George, portraying “Ralliez-Vous A Mon Panache Blanci”, was crowned King of Carnival, this morning, while the Queen of Carnival title went to Chariss Bovell, who portrayed “Mother of Humanity-The Weeping Madonna”.
