De Fete
I would like to give a shout out to the whole Shell Cartel Crew and all the promoters for the fete that happened at Cafe Omar on May 31 2k3. I believe it was a brilliant idea to allow all people from various boatrides to come to de dance for 5$ with any boatride stub. The fete was nice and clean cut, it didn't end until 5:30 AM. I hope more promoters think of a great idea such as that. I can say it was a night of true Caribbean unity. For those who didn't know the price range went as follows, 5$ with any boatride ticket stub, 10$ in advance, and 15$ dollars at the door. If there is a promoter out there who came up with this idea originally respect to you too but I just wanted the islandmix family to know it was a great idea, well promoted and sweet dj's that played. I hope other promoters will continue the trend. :grabit
