At beginning of the perforamnce Arrow does a nice tribute to Byron Lee about his role in bringing the musical cultures of T&T and Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean together.

    Massive......

Btw, check the details, Arrow, didn't write and should not get any credit for it.....

The master Calypsoian behind that massive song was Arrow's Big Brother...

    Justin " Hero " Cassell.....

He is the real deal....master at his craft....

    From Montserrat.

Btw, that is him in the video on the lead chorus....

Let me put it in perspective.......since this was Byron Lee's biggest hit.

And i know how these playa haters are.

He Hero won like 11 or 13 Calypso monarch straight........they couldnt touch him....simply the best.......he retired....

His much younger brother took over.....Arrow....a master at his craft also...but Hero was the real deal....

He ended up living in Jamaica.....while attending agriculture college there..

He hooked up with Lee...that version that you hearing that Buss World Wide.....was the version that cemented Byron Lee..

Hero had wrote a diff version and never used it.. . So it was sold to Lee...given the new format.

    Anyway... Big Rass Tune.

This and Byron Lee's professionalism and showmanship took Soca to 7 Continents.....

And he was able to finally play in China ...the birthplace of his father....his mother is a black Jamaican.....his proudest moment.

I got the info about the songwriter directly from the record label so I think they credited the wrong writer on the record label.

Big hit for Sugar Aloes in 1990. This one was also played by some of the top steelbands that year.
