CD's from the Summer Carnivals
What CD's do you recommend others to buy?
From Crop Over- I recommend Return of the Monsta by Monsta Piece Studios. Songs like Girls Gone Wild(Lil Rick), Shake It by Gregory Ayuen and Bumper Buffet by Khiomal. Krosfyah-Fire proof with songs such as Where I Wanna Be, Feels Like I'm Home, and Bahsment Bacchanal. Add more Cd's that you feel worth picking up. |

The Real Deal - Straight From Bim
It has Patrice & Machel's songs on the Barbershop Riddim, John King - Don't stop, Seth Billy - The Real Deal, Sanctuary - Thug Passion...Ms Alysha & Sandy - Bad Like That Soca Bonfire - Don Trent - Me & You, Edwin - It Feels Like, Miguel - Die For You, Biggie Irie - Band On Fyah, etc 758 Carnival Vol 1 (St Lucia) - SLU, Leggo & Island Riddims in addition to the ones you mention (Return Of The Monsta & Fyah Proof). I haven't had a chance to review the Burning Flames & Red Hot Flames albums as much as I'd like, but there some def tunes on them I like. Also...Soca City from Grenada. Has on Bambawa Riddim, and a couple tunes by Soca Banton & Sheldon Douglas I like. |

I liked Ragga Ragga II out of St. Vincent. Frenzy by Full Clip, Krazy Riddim by Justin Arindlae, and Charge by Fireman Hooper are some of the standout cuts.
