What's your thoughts on him trying to cross over into Dancehall Reggae???

So long as he still does soca...I see no issue. Love lil rick bad, but he dj's reggae and dancehall on a regular basis. Still comes hard w/ soca coem Cropover though. If they can be successful doing both & not desert it, then cool.

Doesn't he do that anyway? j/k :p

Seriously if he does a danchall album good for him. He has some good soca tunes in his repertoire (sp?) especially with another artist, but I always felt he's more suited for dancehall, especially when I saw him at the SOS Glow show last year. Besides, he's been featured with some D/H acts at various shows in NYC this year.

im all for him doing that cause he can do it but it seem like it would be hard for him caus eits hard for non jamaicans to do well singing reggae

i dont think it would be hard for him cuz i have heard a couple of tunez from him on the dancehall side and he really did his thing. i'm happy for him. go make that money.

i know he can do it and have good songs but if the jamicans dont accept you singing reggae then you got no shot

i got a link from a site that was a reggae site that was similar to islandmix and if you see how much hate they give towards bunji just because he from trinidad
they saying what a trini boy know about reggae

i think he could do it based on talent and his soca following every big reggae show in nyc hes apart of it so that says something
