Best Foreign Soca Performance you've seen

Foreign as in: "if it's a 'trini' show in brooklyn, and someone not from Trinidad (or of Trinidadian descent).

or like you probably thought, if a foreigner come to your island and mash up de soca...

the best foreigner i've seen at a trini show was

1. tallpree...boy scouts fete, trinidad...dat dude destroy dat fete...and also soca monarch (shoulda won easily)

2. edwin yearwood...soca monarch 1997...EVERYBODY SHOW HIM A PEACE SIGN...( shoulda came 2nd or sneak in with a victory)

What about the Bajans on the board? The jamaicans? Antiguans? Vincy? any other islands?

you ever catch a wicked performance from somebody from ah next island on your island?

another performance dat surprise me out of his element was Machel at Hartford Sting way back in like 1999. Was ah reggae fest in CT, and he put on a real good show...was the best one there (but i didn't stay for Beenie man...who probably could have been better) but Machel outclass and outperform allah dem reggae acts cuz ah U.F.O and big truck...and he come on stage one time and say...'HEYYYYYYY FISHY FISHY' and dunn dem with de reggae...but when he ask dem tuh move tuh de left...nobody move...only flaw in his performance...cuz dem jamaican's wasn't goin nowhere...i try and move and get stick bad bad bad...

Iwer de previous year also suprise me in dat same Hartford sting cuz he catch dem with Ah reading...

Bunji did an excellent job at Wet Fete (Barbados 2004) and what amazed me most is that the crowd didn't really seem to be big on him at first. Man came...did his thing...and left the place WET!!! Definately a good performance!!!
