I Hear On Zdk Radio That Calypsonians And Soca Artist Must Confirm The Writters And Producers Of They're Music B4 Entering Any Competitions. Also Any Compilation Cd's. They Said This Will Enable Everyone To Get There Fair Share And Royaties Will Be Distributed Accordingly........i Think This Is A Good Move!

This probably happened because of the fiasco last year with the calypso competition where a guy sold a song to someone in Barbados and Antigua. And it's about time for them to start with the compilations.

Another incident occur with a certain artist who win roadmarch and gave no royalties to the songwriter! so yeah everybody gotta eat!

cool, they do dat in bim... de govt did dat to stop personal attacks and ting but pecong is a serious element ... it doesnt change much cause de night of de competition men still sharing licks
