Calypso King and former MP passes away
Former Minister of Government and Antigua Calypso King Lynwall "Zero" Joseph died in the Holberton Hospital last night. He died of pneumonia, according to his doctor Prince Ramsey, speaking to the SUN last night following the passing of his close friend. Several years ago, "Zero" became a willing partner to the effort by Dr. Ramsey to take the AIDS education message through the length and breadth of Antigua & Barbuda and throughout the wider Caribbean. His song "Protect Yourself" was a crowd favourite at the Carnival celebrations two years ago and helped him to win his second crown in his long and impressive career as a calypsonian. ---------------- taken from the Antigua Sun.......RIP Mr. "Zero" Joseph |

I hope Antiguans and others take his MESSAGE seriously. His death is an EXAMPLE of why you must PROTECT yourself. |

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO ALL HIS FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FANS.
I REMEMBER HIM WINNING HIS SECOND CALYPSO CROWN WITH ONE OF HIS BIG TUNES "PROTECT YOURSELF" I ALSO REMEMBER IN ANTIGUA PANORAMA 1985 HARMONITES WON AND SUPASTARS PLACED SECOND BOTH PLAYING PROBABLY HIS BIGGEST HIT "DON'T EAT IT" |

the song was not written by ZERO..it was written by Dr. Prince Ramsey who writes a lot of calypso's for different calyposonians in antigua and around the caribbean!!!
