Andre Tanker Tribute
I can't believe that it's been 6 years since the great Andre Tanker passed. I discovered his music thru a Rituals compilation back in the '90's and soon after heard selections from his "Children of the Big bang" CD on the local Caribbean radio programs. I got it at a Tower record shop and its one of my all time favorite soca discs. My tribute includes some of his recordings from the 70's that I wasn't around to enjoy and a favorite from the "Children of the Big bang" CD. Enjoy! |

Big post... Hosanna Fire and Sayamanda, really reminds me of my yute.
Andre Tanker inspired a whole generation of artists... from the obscure like Homefront, to bigger names like Maximus and 3Canal... in them his music continues to live on. |
