all these Jus Bus interpolation tunes

I dunno...I feel like this producer has the right intention when he goes into making these soca "remixes" of well known pop songs - his intention is to get people familiar and I can respect that
and overall he's a technically sound producer in his execution
but the overall "unauthentic" product produced makes soca music look like a big pappyshow - especially because this stuff seems so "microwave oven" for a hip hop/r&b community etc

I see what u mean, but i think the remixes is alright musically wise,
maybe some hiphop/rnb producers and artist shy away from soca coz they dont think it sound so nice / pro, but soca over all is a bit easy sounding, both music, lyrics and melodies (like taking nursery rimes and so on).
I guess its because its a such fast moving music..

But for the main ppl, the audience that are sopose to listen to the music, who are into rnb / hiphop / pop music i find this practice that JusBus is doing very helpful. Especially out here when nobody ever heard a tune. (and its the same in some parts in nyc and so on when i ask there) its very good for them to hear some tunes in a remix so they are easier to target for the real groovy soca tunes...

I want more remixes of famous tunes,

its really nice to mix in to soca sets.
Even if u dont like a tune, when u hear it all over 10 times a day,
just when u notice that u reconise the tune in the club, u get exited just before u realise that u dont like it..
