so you dislike the physical design or some tech aspect of how it works?

physical.
i don't think they've significantly moved on from the g1 as they should have. the phone is too thick and the buttons are too retro for it to be worthy for me.
no 3.5mm headphone jack

the operating system (android) i can rave about all day. but i'm not using it on a lackluster(for 2009) device.

Oh ok

You mean the specific size or that fact that charger and headphones don't have separate jacks.

This phone I have was the 1st time i experience that and I thought it was stupid but you adapt.

i felt it wasn't a slim enough phone as it should be

the mini usb port that's also used for audio is great for everything except audio. people want the regular 3.5mm headphone jack that they've known forever. why? crisper sound, universal headphone use...including car decks and other home/pro audio equipment. also you could have listened to music while charging the phone. this might be petty to some people. but this is just me and my needs talking...

agreed.I was very turned off by the size and weight of the g1.
I guess the mytouch is their way to reach out to people like me.

yes i figured you were against it also.for a phone trying to be inclusive open nd universal;to not have that just spoils it

oh,I didnt realize the hack was on the dash ...

I figured since it was a tmobile phone the would have an easier time blocking it
My old nokia e60 was able to exploit tzones years ago .str8 out the box with no hack.

Do you know if its able to exploit the 3g also?or just edge?

the iphone 3g uses a different bandwith than the one tmobile uses for their 3g coverage so it can never be used...unless apple changes their chip

yeah any smartphone could exploit it regardless if it's tmobile. Tmobile have actually known this has been going on for years but them being their liberal selves, always turned a blind eye to it.

any iphone... 2g,3g,3gs can access edge but edge only yes because TMO uses a different 3g frequency than the rest of the world.
