Seems like it could take away some attention from Facebook. People seem to be emailing a lil less and just posting/messaging through Facebook pages these days. But Wave lets you chat and share pics in a new way. I like that you can restrict portions of discussions, embed into web pages, and have everything updating real time.

I like it, but I don't think it's innovating.

That type of application has been on the net for a few years now.
