havent used it yet..

Sherpa uses a learning engine called GENIE (Geodelic Engine for Interest Evaluation) that automatically learns a user’s favorite locations and lifestyle behavior. If a user eats out more than they shop, it modifies itself and tailors the experience to begin showing more restaurants and less retail stores.
Interesting.

errrrrrmmm i just know how to use it i not exactly sure what it is.
my best explanation is that android is an operating system used on certain cellphones... not all of them use it. I believe iPhone is included.

waits for a tech to explain properly

No

The Android is only on HTCs and Motorolas at this time.

Although you can hack the Iphone and put Android on there.

The apps that I have are.

Twidroid-Twitter app. It bad

Layar-where u can use GPS to find out info around you.

HI AIM

HI Yahoo

Those are the apps that I usually use at this time.

I downloaded others but I don't use them.

TV.COM-you can watch shows that were aired on CBS and other stations. It's very limited, so I don't really use it.

Ustream- you can stream LIVE from your phone like you were on your PC. You can even see the chat in the video.

The only problem is that you can't watch from it. You can only stream.

Imovicha- you can use your phone as a webcam.

Mobile-Mobile

Mobile-PC

etc

I still need to look around in the market for more.

My review
Sherpa is "pretty" but Where seems like it has more stuff (more yellowpagey) and a more accurate locator.
Is like per Sherpa I already know what i like in my area many times the duty is to find something specific vs act like a personal preference learning app so it depends on what you want. ... personalized or yellow pgs.

However both failed to find a store I was looking for the address of yesterday and i was about 2 blocks from it I guess "Filenes Basement" not important? but it found 2 that were further away when there was one right there.

One of them is synced with Yelp (i will check which one) so you can have instant reviews which is helpful I was trying to locate an eye doctor for a regular exam.

well googletalk has not only text chat but video chat so I'm asking if ustream is a way for you to videochat using google talk or whether the video function already on your phone is how you would videochat thru googletalk on your phone if anyone else has an answer that would be appreciated.

Could some of them that not obvious by names could u jus say what they are?
Shaazam???

ok
Last FM
Pandora
Imeem

I had Imeem first but it kept force closing and you couldn't skip more than 6 times an hr... I did like the songs and the option to make like a "favorites" playlist. I'm a little annoyed imeem mobile isn't more like the online things cos i love imeem online and the fact that the mobile and online seem to be synced but whats the use if they don't have all the same functions.

So I switch to Pandora where I have a bunch of stations and I like the songs they play. .. doesn't force close as much but i miss the personalization factor... all you can do is "like"/thumbs up something but not create a list of songs/ playlist or a favorites for shuffle play.

I haven't tried last FM

So PJK you prefer Where to Sherpa? I'm still trying to decide between the two.

I like ShopSavvy too

What functions does cardiotrainer offer?

Also I found it strange that you couldn't just go in settings >> storage and just open and browse the SD card you had to go into like music or pictures to access it so I found Astro and use that to access the SD directly. Does anyone else use Astro or have a suggestion of an app they love for this purpose?

Oh i also use shopping list plus cos i'm the type to go to the shop and get everything but what i really needed... its like a little notepad...

Lastly I'm being told my sim?sd? is full delete mssgs to make room ... when i click it i guess its going to text mssgs i saved but it keeps refreshing forever .... where are text mssgs supposed to be saved etc . I'm not understanding the problem.

Shaazam listens to music any music that is playing and gives you artist and track name.
Cardio Trainer does exactly what it sounds like. A complete training program for the gym.
Havent fully used where yet but it finds what i need it to find kinda like how live search did for the instinct before..
