When choosing a costume

What is the most important thing to you?

Colour?

Headpiece?

Wristband, neckpiece?

Where your crew is?

Enlighten me...

1. Colour & design
2. Where my crew is
3. Where the vibes are

More research? :p

For me Colour and headpiece are very important but not as important as my crew...with a nice lime in the band it doesn't matter if we look like Mrs. Potatohead as long as we are having a good time.

color and design are the first things I look at. I don't like elaborate headpieces but if the custume design is really nice I would still play because you can always opt to no wear your headpiece.

Mainly how pretty the costume is, the details, cost, vibe in the section and the color. I came into this world by myself so I'll be leaving by myself. I don't care if my entire crew don't like it as long as I like it. I will still have a blast for them and I always make new friends. :p

agree completely. for me the most important factor is color & design of costume. I have to love the costume to play in it. I ain't making the mistake again of playin in a section that I'm not in love with because I don't wanna play alone.

Color and design it the most imporant cause ah really fussy when ah play mas.

Like to be with my crew to cause ah think that when ah drunk ah like to have mey friends around to keep mey in check.

ah big thing for me to is the ppl that brining de section. if de pl really nice and willing to work with you in terms of fitting and other things ah will be more apt to support but if attitude towards the particpant really poor is ah no go for me.

I did it once in TNT 02 & it wasn't so bad. I met lots of people in my section that were cool. but then in TNT 03 I went w/ the section the majority of imix was playin in and was kicking myself whole day when I saw that section I really loved but didn't play in

Initially ...i go for design and color....but in the end what matters is that my people are with me...cause it makes no sense looking great and not having fun..

Girl, if I study all my crew and family I'll be stuck playing in some fugly section sulking all damn day. Most times I'm drunk and my belly full during carnival anyway. So I often walk up to folks that seem cool and I have no problems chilling/talking with them I often don't care bcuz I'm never going to see half of dem till next carnival anyway.:p

I have to go with the masses with the

Color: Combinations is very important

Design: Depending of my body size of the moment.

Band: Who am I giving a car note or a bill to and what am I getting in return.

Friends: Of course there is always the influence.

So long as the liquor flowin, I ain care. I rip off the headpiece right away(unless I can get away w/ not wearing it at all). I play mas alone...no big deal. Usually lose my friends anyhow.
