Carnival has been around for decades and exists in over 100 different Countries and Islands, however for some reason it is still very much understood by those who are not familiar withe he Cultures that are connected to them.

Whilst I love Carnival it never fails to amaze me how little some people know or understand about Carnival.

Quite often the majority of people I come across (through no fault of their own I might add) are ignorant when it comes the History of carnival, how it works, the reasons behind certain practises during the Carnival Season, Traditional Characters, the Music, the instruments the reason why we take part, who takes part e.t.c.

What do you think is the most misunderstood aspect of Carnival Culture and how do you think it could be rectified so it can be made accessible to people who aren't familiar with it
