Trinidad 2K6
Hey Island mix!!!
Anyone heading to Trinidad for the carnival??? I want to head out there for the first time. Dont really know how to go about this, but any ideas on the best place to stay? How about the best band on the road? I was checking out several websites and noticed that costumes are selling out like crazy even though we've got 5 months more. Is Xtatik ever on the road? What band? Thanks people!!! Ms. Spicetatik! |

i haven't seen or heard of xtatik on the road.
i usually stay in a guest house instead of family. the guest house i like is LaCalypso on french street in woodbrook. it's close and convenient to just about everywhere. unless u need to head down in the west then u need a car (to places like mobbs 2. i believe that's either chaguramas or chaguanas). pleas correct me if i'm wrong. other dan dat, everyting else is local; depending on what type of fetes u plan on attending. but book fast cuz rooms are going quickly. i suggest u book your costume last. u have to get there first then u can play mas. |
