Trini Mas Players: Would you.................

would you play mas with a band if u knew they were not going to cross the savannah stage. Some bands saying they may consider not crossing the stage. $30,000 bonds have to be paid by band leaders if masquerders break NCC rules (taking long on the stage, sitting on stage and so on) The bands don't want to pay the bond ( band leaders have no real control over the masqueraders) and as a result the may not cross the stage.

To me crossing the stage is the highlight to the mas playing ting. I get a high when i cross the stage. Yea the wait is long, especially if u play with Poison, but it is worth it.

Would u play with a band if they tell u that they won't be crossing the stage?

Among the bands that saying that they may not cross are the big bands Tribe, Poison, and so on.

The stage is hugh very intimidating actually but I like to stay at the front of band so I can catch the video light

You get a rush running through your body when you about the cross the stage with ppl in the stands to the left & to the right of you . All you see is mad flashes going off

Did you have women asking you to dance with them on the stage also? I mean before you cross . I guess some of them wanted to lock down a dance partner
