No contest with the costume bands. The best and the tightest competition for me was the pan competition between Sonatas and Adlib. Best night of labour day week for me.

congrulations to all the second band scores and first scores band, congrulations to sesame flyers. i don't think borokeete should won number one in the medium section. there this lady who plays queen with borokeete who wears the same costume every year , the only thing there change is front of the costume , instead of the outing of the costume- in she does it in Trinidad too .in what makes matter worse the judges knew . well i had fun playing mas on the parkway . i'm just mad my mas camp had two trucks in the other truck failed inspection on eastern pkway @ buffalo from the nypd-punch of smurfs (well not all-just the haters in the nypd), so my mas camp was stuck with one truck on the road -which took me a while to get jumpin on the road, when the truck got to utica ave eastern pkway , that when the dj start pump in the music !!!! On my top list of costumes: Ramjay, Seasme, 1199, New Generation, in there was one section i liked in -Karma band. rest of the band's didn't really meet my standards when comes to nice !!!!!!! and i heard this year there had more Jamaicans than Haitians -isn't that nice (now people can stop harassing my people we take over the parkway). and this was the second year , no one got stab or shot on the parkway. let keep that up- we show the non-west Indians we can fete with out no violence !!!! .

I would like to Thank all the fake haitians, who came out during the west-indian parade-2k9, but who has no roots to caribbean island nation.but bought a flag to represent !!!!!!
