Im Confussed Aint This............
ok i was looking thru pics of miami carnival on tlime!! and i come accross this pic was island people on de road or did this guy teaf the costume???

i was wonderin the same thing. There was a lady in the female version too. Y would he wear it at miami carnival tho?

Maybe Sonia Mac did provide these costumes so people can get an eye opener. Maybe they were the launch costumes and they are giving the overseas masqueraders an up close and personal feel for it.
If it is "bogus" Black Widow Spider costume then they did a damn good job!!

hmmmm i could understand that but there was no female that im aware of and they dont look like they were handing out publicity or anything and the costume is 100% identicle to the one on her site i would find it strange to send out live versions of a costume before they hit trinidad

Well at a first glance it looks identical but it seems to be a sloppy version of the costume... Look at the thing around the neck, its not symmetrical
and the thing around the waste looks kinda sloppy as well compared to this one .. Just my 2 cents

Comparing the 2 pics as well. There also seems to be some definite variations to the costume though, look no handpieces and it seems to be a longer pants thought there is not that option in the original. And something coming out de back out the costume? Nevertheless though we are able to make the comparison to Sonia Mack Black Widow spider costume so something worked... LOL
