I've never been to the Lara fete, all I know from people that it's a social scene, it's good, they have good food, and good drinks and I think Xtatik performs there (or maybe just Machel, I'm not sure)

last year was my 1st time. it's a very social fete @ a celebrity's home (actually backyard). lots of beautiful people, good drinks, excellent food (even Richard's Maracas Bake & Shark). certain bands & artists perform on a stage in the backyard (last year it was so ram I stayed on the side of the house where they had a giant screen set up). and some artists show up just to lime

Well, I went to the Lara event last year at carnival and it was real nice. The vibe is real nice. Last year, Atlantik performed alongside Destra. So it was good. I think it is worth it, the people are somewhat more upscale, nice venue, and tickets include: food, and drinks, I believe so.

So that's my take on it.
