How come I almost never see that many women in the Haitian bands on the parkway?

One guy told me that it is because the women get sexually harassed. Is that the reason?

Is carnival in Haiti also mostly men?

Haitian bands on the parkway tend to be very rough...they like to make a mini mosh pit and wile out...I know that's why I don't tend to roll with them. And since there are only a couple of Haitian bands rolling down the parkway, everyone and their Mom is following one float...you can really get crushed. Not sure about the sexual harrassment thing...but I wouldn't be surprised.

I've seen haitian women particpate in mas camp..............1199 mas camp on the parkway,and other mas camps as well ......you see whole bunch, of them on that float.
with full feather headset and thong bikini costumes.

and no carnival in haiti mostly not men.who would the men wine on with out feamale participation in carnival

Whe is your Carnival ?

Im not haitian but my man is and I find that true but most of the haitian band are male bands not to many female in the industry it kinda dominated bt men

Love the haitian music on the Parkway but when their trucks come through it is always scary. I don't think the parade was meant to accomodate massive hoardes of people like that in the street. The women are smart to stay away.
