9. Inez Gould - "Light Up The Ball (368)
10. Rosemarie Kuru Jagessar - "Soyala, Winter Queen" (350)

They were a lot of names that always were on the bottom of the pack that were able to come in the top 4. Esecpically some south costumes who always seems to be getting the shorter end of the stick. We have Lionel Jagessar Jr. who plays traditional Indian each year breaking in top 3. Lenore Caterson the reigning queen of New York was able to come 3rd in her first year competing in Trinidad as a queen. Also in the queens competition two big guns Inez and Pamela were unable to have a year they are used to with Pamela dropping from 1st place to 7th. Esuatce also changed up a bit breaking away from his repetivtiness and showing a breath of life in his ideas. In overal it was get to see some results going away from the typical 1,2,3 order we were seeing for so many years.

I was not feeling Esuatce King for a costume wwith an Eygptian theme i feel it was all wrong the mechanised bat wings were cool but the concept was poor.
it was good to see the south land move up the ladder too.
