Very nice concept and different take on the regular j'ouvert bands. Looks very much like a pretty mas band.

This has been the whole idea behind it, to reinvent the concept and take it a little bit further. Though they look like a pretty mas band, body paint is provided and the costumes are designed to look even better when dirty.

This is an all inclusive band with prices starting at TT$370.00 for many of the sections. We will have 3 DJ, 1 from T&T, 1 from Miami and another from Australia all on a 40ft trailer. Security is also provided.

Thank you Socadiva, that painting was called "Dats de mas?" one of several of socicial commentary on the state of modern mas.

If you play, come over and say hi, but don't wait till last minute to join, this band only caters for 250 masqueraders and all costumesd are already completed.

Maslover, thanks, we did intend to take it up a notch a bit and make it more polished. Though the models are not wearing body paint, it is available in all the 7 colours of the Sins. The standards are optional except in Luxuria, where is comes with the costume.

Thanks all.

Thanks for the reply, it does seem that you took J'Ouvert up a notch, it looks so polished unlike what one usually expects. I will definately be part of this next year and I see that I can register online. Just have to deciede what Sin I will be. Any info an the band leaves from?

Thanks again, this is exactly what we set out to do, though after the body paint and jumping up for 30 min, they will no longer look so polished. See pics and a video from this year's presentation "Jab". Gallery

Do register early as only 250 spaces are available and we do have our regulars. We update our site weekly so stay tuned for more info. The route we use is only released when you collect your costume, so I am unable to divulge any of it now.
