Circus costumes

I went to the Big Apple Circus last night, the theme is Carnevale and several of the costume were nice (design wise, color wise is a different thing, but its the circus) and I thought to myself that Carnival designers need to take the "bathing suit" to the next level...

I'll see if I can find some pictures...

When I saw "circus costumes" I was thinking "oh somebody managed to take one of Machel's Power Puff Girl outfit, add some beads and feathers then bring it as a super-duper all-inclusive section for Poison." :p :p

Anyway, I'm interested to see these Big Apple Circus pics.

I couldn't find any, but the costumes were more like the ice skating costumes (bathing suit part, no sleeve) but more risque, they had the fabric to match your skin in different parts, and the
appliques made up most of the costume. I don't think this explains it good, but...

Maybe it might be too pricey to have the whole costume decorated that way, but i thought it was nice...

One of the men had on a skin color bodysuit that had the collar piece sewn directly on to it and along the legs their were they appliques (not the glitter kind) that matched his bath trunks and collar, he was supposed to represent the "caribbean carnival".
