Cheeks Moves with Poison’s Top 8!!
Just to expand on a post from earlier. This is the official announcement.




Meg Cheeks has resigned as Communications officer of the large band Poison. Cheeks has decided to start a new venture called ‘Pulse 8’, an eight member group consisting of former Poison members.

Meg Cheekes of the mega band Poison has officially resigned her position as Communications Officer.

Cheekes, with 16 years experience in the Carnival industry and the marketing consultant of Poison, has announced her decision to venture out. This decision she says is a direct response to the masqueraders’ needs to deliver an improved “Poison Carnival Experience” within a structured and manageable band.

Michael Headley, Cheekes’ mentor, goes on record saying that he wishes her continued success in Trinidad and Tobago Carnival and is delighted at her decision to accept the opportunity presented.

The new eight (8) member group (all formerly of Poison) will at an upcoming Media launch, share the excitement of ‘Pulse 8 Carnival’ and reveal its presentation for Carnival 2007.

The Pulse 8 Group are:

Cheek 2 Cheek, D’Image TnT, Cat & Friends, ‘D’ Coco Crew,Funstation 4, Sweet Life TnT, Sonia Marcano (‘Red’) and DJ Wendell.

Pulse 8 Carnival promises for Carnival 2K7 more mas…. more fun!

a bunch of f-ing rubbish... all this means is more piss trucks, more "i can't walk no more" bus and a bunch of other fru fru rubbish on the streets of port of spain. I don't know what in the world our carnival coming to.
