What is the purpose of wearing tights with your costumes or stockings

some folks don't have small patty cakes so they wear tights to keep there stuff from being exposed.
some folks wear them for a finished look. |

 it gives the costume a finished look. Iv'e played with and without stockings and i played with stockings this year in tnt only because my panty was too small i left home without but got an extra pair from a friend because my bottom was in de road..  |

because unless you have perfect, stellar legs it does give the costume a "finished" look, plus you will be sitting your ass down all over the place, you don't think you need some protection ?

I know some ppl also use it for (leg) support but some ppl does just spoil it with the cheap panty hose with de panty lines on the side. |
