Broward Carnival
Went to the launch yesterday...costumes were so so. Got a flyer for Carnival day...WCK, Byron Lee, Jam Band, Red Hot Flames, Burning Flames, Asylum, Xtatushun & Xtatik. Wonder how much people makin the switch this year:) (btw, anyone who jumps with Gen X...dem gone Broward too).
I will post some costume pics later. |

What does everyone think of Broward vs Miami? I have only been to Miami..so cant compare..also, where in Broward? And how long is that drive from Sobe?

There is no confirmation as yet on where in Broward the carnival will be. I dont believe they will use/can use that park where they had the launching yesterday. |

I've been to both and for the last 3 yrs only do Broward. It is a much better enviorment the police are more laid back because the majority of them are from the caribbean and are aware of the culture. Broward has more costume bands so you get a nicer parade on the road. The venues have more of a family oriented feel to them and are econmical ,it was only $5 last year to get in and will probably me the same again this year. *******BROWARD CARNIVAL OCT.8TH 2006********
